Library service restored!
Since the withdrawal of the Mobile Library Service by the Conservative led Lincolnshire County Council, the Liberal Democrats have been pushing for the County Council to reinstate the service, and are really pleased to confirm it has restarted.
Commenting on the restoration of services, Liberal Democrat Group Leader and local Abbey Councillor, Clare Smalley commented "Many residents have been in touch regarding the loss of the library service. They provide access to a key resource which can enrich the minds of all generations. The County Council and their library operator has said that the mobile library service will be continued as long as it is adequately supported so we encourage everyone to pop along and see what the Mobile Library Service has to offer"
The mobile library will stop at Roman Pavement near Green Synergy at the following dates:
- Friday 17th November (1.45 - 2.15pm)
- Friday 15th December (1.45 - 2.15pm)
