Cllr. James Brown

James Brown is one of our local councillors for Glebe Ward since being elected in May 2024. He has been an active member of the community having campaigned for residents across the city for the last few years.

James is a teacher of computer science at a Lincolnshire secondary school. He is a hands on and active councillor around the ward, not only reporting issues but regularly gets on with tackling what needs to be done himself. James is a strong voice at City Hall and continues to voice residents’ concerns and views; fighting for the improvements our area deserves. He is happy to meet residents, businesses and employees who have concerns and will always endeavour to make a positive difference.

In his freetime, James enjoys historical sites, theatre and reading. He also enjoys hiking and cycling, and is a keen baker.
